Case Studies
New York Lander Street Apartments
Recently in Newburgh, New York, CDR Electronics Company, installed four Videolarm Deputy Dome bullet-resistant cameras at the historic Lander Street Apartments. The complex, designed for low-income families, had seen a spike in crime: prostitution, drug sales, and acts of violence. Due to budgetary constraints, the city was restricted on increasing patrolling of the area. Taking matters into their own hands, the apartment complex took an account of their resources and reached out to Videolarm & CDR for a solution.
Murfreesboro Housing Authority – Tennessee
The Murfreesboro Housing Authority operates four projects in Tennessee. As with many such developments, drugs and crime began to creep in and disturb the peace. The MHA formed a partnership with the Murfreesboro Police to begin to take bake the neighborhood. The police suggested using surveillance cameras to help fight crimes, and to provide evidence.
